UPDATED!!! We accidentally left one out: “Sarah, You Ovaries Are Drying Up: The Musical” presented by Crankador Productions sold out their Saturday slot.
Not sure why it was left out, but “Sarah, Your Ovaries Are Drying Up: The Musical” also sold out. It was tweeted about earlier here.
“Sarah Your Ovaries are Drying Up” was sold out before Rush Line opened Saturday at 10pm (1st Performance). I watched people get turned away. What constitutes a “Certified” Sellout?
A show is certified as sold-out once we get the box office recon into our accounting system and make sure there weren’t any errors. “Sarah” did in fact sell out but was accidentally omitted from this list originally due to an editorial error. It’s been corrected.
Dear Sirs:
I had no success purchasing tickets thru your web site, nor could I get thru by phone.
I will be attending a play, “Second Skin”, Thursday 8/6, a cast member mentioned tickets should be at “walk up”. Hope he’s correct.
Yes I will all purchase the button at that time.
Just thought I’d give you a heads up.
Thank you,
Pat
Our Web site—and our ticketing vendor’s Web site and phone lines—have been overwhelmed by interest in this year’s festival. We’ve added more power to both systems, though, so everything should run much more smoothly.
“Sarah” was accidentally omitted from this post. It’s been corrected.
‘Jurassic Dork’ is presented by John Skelley, not Jonas Goslow.
You are right, sir. The error’s been corrected.
I just got off your website where it said that I could purchase reservations for specific shows for $1. I tried in vain to find out where to do that online. There was a place that told me I could do this. It would be very helpful next year if the heading on that place could be a hyperlink to the place where one can actually buy these mythical reservations.
You may make reservations online by clicking the “Buy Tickets” link on a show page. Add the tickets to your shopping cart but then, instead of selecting a full ticket, select instead the type of reservation you’d like to make. It’s a little counterintuitive—and something we’ll make clearer next year—but it is an available service.
[...] I’m still blown away by the numbers from opening weekend. Attendance over the first four days is up 19% over last year. It’s crazy how many shows sold out so early on in the festival as well (ten in the first weekend!). [...]
